Frank Fritz’s name carries a lot of weight due to his time on “American Pickers”, so naturally many people visit the store just for that reputation. Going through Google reviews, it’s clear that a lot of people like this kind of store, with one person writing: “The place was great, I thought [an old] bomber jacket that I was looking for on the internet and got a big chunk of the price.” One of the most exciting things about the store that is sure to catch fans’ attention is that Fritz apparently stops on a regular basis, and obviously he’s a nice guy. Someone else wrote: “[Fritz] showed up on one of his bikes while I was there. Was very friendly and was more [than] happy to take photos with my grandson and me.”
Of course, not everyone was so fascinated by the store. Apparently, one person wasn’t too impressed with the way the shop was set up, writing, “Antique shop was disappointing. Disorganized with poor lighting with very few items of interest.” Another person echoed those sentiments on Yelp, “I love antiques and I don’t mind the dust, but it’s pretty much scattered everywhere and there’s no one to help customers.”
As is the case with most things, it’s open to interpretation, but you never know. Maybe when you decide to pass, Frank Fritz himself will stop to take a photo and lift you to cloud nine.
