“Because by dint of believing it I forget that this world is false?” It’s not often that we feature music videos, but this one is fantastic. This animated music video for the song “Hematoma” through The Empress is a To watch. Directed by filmmakers / illustrators Roxane Lumeret & Jocelyn Charles, the clip follows a gorilla desperate to become a real human woman (again). The song “Hematoma” is about being “bruised” by love, and the lyrics are about this lost love and “Who knows how to fix people who break down?“I’m really in awe of the animation – there are some great shots in this 4 minute movie, and it all looks so good. Enjoy it.
