PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy introduced Tuesday that the PNC carousel at Oakland’s Schenley Plaza has reopened.

The newly renovated carousel options new brass plating, non-slip deck coating and contemporary paint on the carved animals.
Security protocols may also be in place, together with sporting a masks, bodily distance and disinfection after every journey. They may also permit households to journey collectively.

“The youngsters’s laughter and the music of outdated Calliope are all a part of the appeal and custom of the carousel and summers in Oakland,” stated Shawn Fertitta, director of customer expertise on the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. “We could not be happier with the secure reopening of the carousel, the upgrades and the thrill it creates for the households who take pleasure in it yearly.”
The carousel might be open Wednesday by Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to six:00 p.m. every week. The associated fee per journey is $ 2 and tokens will be bought with a bank card on the amusement journey kiosk or in money on the Asia Tea Home.
