Creator of creative software Foundry makes HieroPlayer, its desktop writing and editing tool, available for free with a Nuke or NukeX license. Part of the Nuke family of products, HieroPlayer allows artists to play clips or footage and quickly compare render versions.
With HieroPlayer, artists can easily see their work in the context of the VFX timeline. Along with Nuke Studio, it enables editors, producers and coordinators to optimize their review workflows by seamlessly sharing schedules for better visibility and control over projects. The review tool integrates with Nuke and NukeX for better collaboration between teams, whether using the node chart or the timeline solutions.
“Foundry’s vision with Nuke has always been to give composers more control,” said Juan Salazar, senior product manager at Foundry – Timeline & Story. “By including the free HieroPlayer with maintenance, we make it easy for Nuke artists to review work and share comments in the context of the entire project, with accurate and consistent colors, and the same pipeline capability you expect from Nuke.”
The promotion offers a free annual subscription to HieroPlayer to artists who have a Nuke or NukeX license with active maintenance. Additional information is available here.
